Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Lift mobile application and the liftgymapp.com website (together, the "Service"), operated by Riccardo Casale, an individual sole trader based in Italy ("we," "us," or "our"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm that you meet this requirement.

You're responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

Lift uses third-party AI to generate content such as workout suggestions, AI Coach responses, nutrition estimates, and physique projections. This content is produced automatically and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your circumstances. It is provided for general informational purposes only and is not professional, medical, nutritional, or training advice. Always apply your own judgment and consult a qualified professional before acting on it.

Lift provides fitness information for general informational purposes only. It is not medical advice. Consult a qualified health professional before beginning any exercise or nutrition program. You assume all risk associated with physical activity.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the app (workouts, notes, photos, messages). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you — including sending it to the AI providers described in our Privacy Policy when you use AI features.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including all content, features, functionality, and the "Lift" name and branding, is owned by us and protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or create derivative works without our written permission.

8. Paid Plans

Parts of the Service are free to use; some features require a paid Lift Pro subscription. Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID via the App Store, renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and can be managed or cancelled in your device's subscription settings. Pricing and terms are shown in the app before any purchase. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store's terms — see our Support page for how to request one.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or completely secure.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Lift shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits any liability that cannot be limited or excluded under applicable law, including your mandatory statutory rights as a consumer.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Italy, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. If you are a consumer resident in the EU, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence.

13. Changes to These Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date and, where appropriate, communicated by email.
